TORM plc increases capital due to exercise of restricted share units

TORM plc (Nasdaq: TRMD or TRMD A) has increased its share capital by 31,483 Class A shares, corresponding to a nominal increase of USD 314.83. The increase is a result of the exercise of a corresponding number of Restricted Share Units (RSUs) as part of TORM’s incentive program.
All new shares were subscribed for in cash at DKK 179.80 per share. This capital increase was carried out without pre-emption rights for existing shareholders or others.
The exercise of RSUs is a common practice for publicly traded companies to align the interests of key employees with those of shareholders and to retain talent. This move reflects TORM's commitment to its long-term incentive strategy.
