Toros Kose Uses Cinema 4D for Pause Fest Opening Titles
Art director Toros Kose utilized Maxon's Cinema 4D software to create the opening titles for Pause Fest 2018, a visually intricate sequence that takes viewers on a journey.

New York-based art director and designer Toros Kose has created the opening titles for Pause Fest 2018, using Maxon's Cinema 4D and Octane Render software. The title sequence, themed 'Journey = Destination,' required nearly seven months of work alongside Kose's other projects.
Pause Fest founder George Hedon commissioned Kose to design the titles with the event's theme in mind. Kose, who has a long-standing fascination with maps, developed a visual concept blending cartographic detail with the essence of travel. His design process was influenced by the work of Japanese artist Noriko Ambe and T.S. Eliot's poetry.
The animation guides viewers on a global journey and subtly introduces the speakers of Pause Fest. Kose describes his approach as detail-oriented, with an interest in creating futuristic interfaces and holograms, noting this project felt like a culmination of his previous work.
Kose's background includes education in Sweden and several internships, followed by freelance work since 2013. He has collaborated with various studios and now rents a studio in New York with a small team, though he often works independently on projects for companies on both coasts.
