Towner County Medical Center Improves Printing with Epson Solutions
Towner County Medical Center in North Dakota has standardized on Epson business inkjet printers to reduce downtime and improve clinical workflows.

Towner County Medical Center, a non-profit hospital serving rural North Dakota, has standardized its printing infrastructure with Epson business inkjet printers. The move aims to enhance reliability, streamline workflows, and improve critical documentation within the hospital's Epic EMR system.
Prior to the implementation, IT operations faced significant challenges with a fragmented fleet of aging laser printers from multiple vendors. According to IT lead Jace Peterson, this resulted in approximately 30 printer-related service tickets weekly due to issues like toner inconsistencies, paper jams, and unreliable EMR integration.
The medical center, in partnership with Liberty Business Systems, deployed nearly 30 Epson WorkForce Enterprise and WorkForce Pro devices. This managed print environment has led to a significant reduction in service calls and operational disruptions.
Since adopting the Epson printers, Towner County Medical Center has reported near-zero downtime across its fleet. Hospital staff can now rely on consistent printing for critical patient documentation, improving efficiency and providing peace of mind in fast-paced clinical settings.
