Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) reported September US sales increased 8.4% to 201,306 units, with electrified vehicle sales up 37.8%. Third-quarter sales rose 0.6% to 633,223 vehicles.

Plano, Texas – Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) announced its September 2026 US sales reached 201,306 vehicles, an 8.4% increase in volume compared to September 2025. Electrified vehicle sales for the month saw a significant 37.8% rise, totaling 117,215 units.

For the third quarter of 2026, TMNA sold a total of 633,223 vehicles, marking a 0.6% increase in volume over the third quarter of 2025. Electrified vehicle sales during the quarter increased by 28.5% to 363,367 units. Electrified vehicles accounted for 58.2% of TMNA's total September sales and 57.4% of third-quarter sales.

The Toyota division reported September sales of 171,469 vehicles, a 7.9% increase. Lexus division sales grew 11.4% to 29,837 vehicles in September. For the third quarter, Toyota sold 540,167 vehicles and Lexus sold 93,056 vehicles.
