Toys"R"Us Expands Navy Exchange Shops for Military Families

Toys"R"Us and the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) announced an expansion of their partnership, bringing more Toys"R"Us shops into NEX stores. The expansion includes new locations in San Diego and international NEX sites, such as Italy, with openings scheduled for October 17.

This collaboration, initially launched in 2024, has shown positive results. NEXCOM reported that the Toys"R"Us shops have driven accelerated growth in toy sales compared to other NEX stores. Since the launch, nine shops have opened, with five more planned this year, bringing the total to 13.

Meredith Jackson, Vice President at NEXCOM, added that the expansion enhances the in-store experience for military families, offering both new toy selections and a sense of nostalgia.
