Tracxn Q2 losses narrow to ₹4.1 Cr as revenue growth stagnates

Bengaluru-based Tracxn Technologies saw its net loss for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027 narrow to ₹4.1 Cr, a 26% improvement compared to the same period last year. The reduction in net loss was primarily driven by a tax credit of ₹52 Lakh, contrasting with a ₹6.2 Cr tax charge incurred during the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Operating revenue showed little movement, increasing by only 0.3% to ₹21.3 Cr. While domestic demand in India grew by 6.9% quarter-on-quarter, international revenue declined by 4.8%. The company’s total expenses climbed 25% year-on-year to ₹27.3 Cr, reflecting an aggressive expansion of its sales teams and investment in data infrastructure.

Tracxn is currently integrating generative AI into its intelligence platform, introducing new tools that allow users to query its proprietary database through platforms like ChatGPT and Claude. The company expects that these AI-led efficiencies, combined with moderating investment costs, will facilitate a return to profitability in coming quarters as it scales its global customer base.
