TransDigm Acquires Prince & Izant for $1.066 Billion
TransDigm Group has completed its acquisition of Prince & Izant, a manufacturer of specialized brazing alloys and metal components. The deal was valued at approximately $1.066 billion.

TransDigm Group Incorporated has finalized its acquisition of Prince & Izant, a company previously owned by Industrial Growth Partners, for approximately $1.066 billion in cash. The acquisition was financed using TransDigm's existing cash reserves.
Prince & Izant, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, designs and manufactures highly engineered brazing alloys and specialty metal components. These products are primarily utilized in the aerospace and defense sectors, including applications for aircraft engine fuel nozzles and rocket engines.
The acquired company is projected to generate approximately $390 million in revenue for the calendar year ending December 31, 2026. Prince & Izant employs around 220 people and operates manufacturing facilities in Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, and New York.
This acquisition is expected to enhance TransDigm's portfolio of specialized components for the aerospace and defense markets, aligning with its strategy of supplying critical parts to the aviation industry.
