CLEVELAND, OH – TransDigm Group announced on September 28, 2026, that it has completed the acquisition of Prince & Izant for approximately $1.066 billion in cash. Prince & Izant, formerly a portfolio company of Industrial Growth Partners, designs and manufactures specialty brazing alloys and highly engineered metal components.
Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Prince & Izant serves key markets including aerospace and defense, aeroderivative turbines, and transportation. Its products are utilized in high-performance applications such as aircraft engine fuel nozzles and rocket engines. The company employs approximately 220 people across manufacturing facilities in four U.S. states.
For the calendar year ending December 31, 2026, Prince & Izant is projected to generate approximately $390 million in revenue. The company's product portfolio includes nearly 10,000 active SKUs, with a significant portion of revenue derived from specialty metals like gold, silver, and platinum alloys.
TransDigm, a global manufacturer of engineered aircraft components, stated that the acquisition is expected to strengthen its position in supplying highly engineered components for demanding applications within its existing end markets.
