Travel Tech Company Flix Reports Strong Growth in First Half of 2023
Travel tech firm Flix announced a 54% increase in revenue and a 53% rise in passenger numbers for the first half of 2023 compared to the previous year. The company expanded its services to Finland and Greece.

Travel technology company Flix has reported its most successful first half year on record, with total revenues reaching EUR 860 million for the period January to June 2023. This represents a 54% increase from the same period in 2022. During these six months, more than 36 million passengers traveled with Flix brands, marking a 53% growth in ridership.
The company also achieved a positive adjusted EBITDA of EUR 26 million. Flix has continued its international expansion, launching its first services in Finland and Greece, and significantly extending its network in Brazil. For the full fiscal year 2023, Flix anticipates total revenue growth exceeding 25% and an adjusted EBITDA margin in the mid-single-digit percentage range.
Across its segments, Flix experienced substantial growth. In Europe, passenger volume surged by 75% to over 24 million, with revenues climbing 91% to EUR 477 million. North America saw a 33% increase in passengers and a 19% rise in revenues to EUR 279 million. The company's subsidiary Kamil Koç in Turkey carried over 6.8 million passengers, a 14% increase, generating EUR 88 million in revenue.
Flix continues to invest in its travel technology platform, integrating operations with acquisitions like Greyhound. The company plans further international expansion, with new routes launching in Chile in 2023 and potential future entry into India. This strategy aims to enhance the traveler experience and broaden Flix's global network.
