Traveltech Startup 30 Sundays Raises ₹61 Cr For AI Expansion

Traveltech startup 30 Sundays has raised ₹61 crore (approximately $6.7 million) in a Series A funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Info Edge Ventures and Eximius Ventures.

The Gurugram-based company plans to use the new capital to strengthen its AI product capabilities, expand its engineering team, invest in brand building, and enter new international markets including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines. They have also recently launched offerings for New Zealand and Mauritius.

Founded in 2024, 30 Sundays operates an AI-native, full-stack holiday planning and booking platform for outbound Indian travelers. The platform handles end-to-end travel operations, including discovery, itinerary planning, booking, and on-trip support, via a video-first, conversational interface and an in-app AI concierge.

The startup is currently targeting couples seeking curated, experience-led holidays, with plans to expand into adjacent customer segments, beginning with families. The company claims its AI operations significantly boost sales team productivity compared to competitors and traditional travel agents.

30 Sundays competes with players such as TravelTriangle and ixigo. Its core proposition is building an AI-native travel planning platform rather than layering AI features onto existing online travel agency workflows. The funding comes amid sustained investor interest in India's traveltech sector as outbound leisure travel recovers.
