Treepz Partners CMS T&M to Launch New TMO Rides Service in Nigeria
Nigerian mobility startup Treepz has partnered with CMS Transport Management to launch TMO Rides, a new service simplifying daily commutes with seamless cashless payments for passengers.

Nigerian mobility startup Treepz has partnered with CMS Transport Management (CMS T&M), a long-standing Lagos transport operator, to launch a new service named TMO Rides. The service aims to simplify daily commutes by introducing seamless cashless payments for passengers across its bus network.
Founded in 2019 and formerly known as Plentywaka, Treepz operates a digital platform enabling passengers to book daily rides along fixed routes. The company also acts as an aggregator for bus travel companies across numerous Nigerian cities, allowing transport operators to digitalize manual servicing and ticketing.
The partnership merges Treepz's transportation technology with CMS T&M's decades of experience in moving passengers. By integrating Treepz's digital mobility platforms into CMS T&M's operations, passengers will benefit from a faster, safer, and entirely cashless payment experience. Transport operators will gain access to real-time operational insights, digital ticketing, and improved revenue management.
The launch of TMO Rides signifies CMS T&M's commitment to modernizing public transportation through digital innovation. "As the transportation needs of Lagos continue to evolve, we must evolve with them," said Andrew Akhigbe, managing director of CMS T&M. "TMO Rides is about making everyday commuting easier by giving our passengers a faster, more convenient way to pay."
