TrendAI Enhances AI Agent Security with Nvidia Platform Integration
TrendAI, an AI security unit of Trend Micro, has integrated with Nvidia's Agent Safety Platform to bolster security for enterprise AI agents. The collaboration adds threat intelligence and monitoring capabilities.
TrendAI, the artificial intelligence security arm of Tokyo-based Trend Micro, announced on September 29th that it is expanding its security offerings for AI agents through integration with Nvidia's Agent Safety Platform. This move aims to provide enhanced threat intelligence, visibility, and detection and response for enterprise AI agents.
The TrendAI Vision One platform will leverage telemetry data from Nvidia's BlueField data processing units and DOCA software. This integration allows for the inspection of AI prompts and responses, as well as governance over agent access to tools and data. Furthermore, the platform will correlate AI activity with endpoint, network, and identity signals to improve threat detection and response capabilities.
Nvidia has positioned its Agent Safety Platform as a reference for continuous, in-silicon monitoring designed to secure AI agents throughout their lifecycle, from testing to deployment. TrendAI's integration enables customers to define security policies and monitor agent behavior across various agents, models, containers, storage systems, and networks.
The announcement arrives as AI agents are projected to see significant adoption in enterprise applications. Gartner forecasts that by 2026, 40% of enterprise applications will feature task-specific AI agents, a substantial increase from less than 5% in 2025. This partnership positions TrendAI to address the growing demand for secure AI environments.
