Tres Agaves Tequila Launches in UK and Ireland
Family-owned Tres Agaves Tequila, a 100% agave spirit from Mexico, begins its European expansion starting with the UK and Ireland.
Tres Agaves Tequila, a family-owned producer of 100% agave tequila from Mexico's Tequila Valley, has launched in the United Kingdom and Ireland. This marks the brand's initial entry into the European hospitality and independent retail sectors.
The expansion is set to continue into Germany, Switzerland, Nordic countries, and Spain in the coming months. An official European industry debut is scheduled for Bar Convent Berlin in mid-October.
Tres Agaves distills its tequila from a single estate in Amatitán, leveraging nearly two decades of direct relationships with local growers. This single-origin sourcing, combined with USDA and Mexican organic certifications, has established the brand in the US market.
"Tequila is one of the fastest-growing spirit categories in Europe, and bartenders are looking for brands with genuine provenance," said Thomas Vogele, Vice President of International Sales at Trinchero Family Wine & Spirits. The European tequila market is projected to reach $2.49 billion in revenue by 2030.
The initial launch includes Tres Agaves Blanco and Reposado in 700ml bottles, with a recommended retail price of £40-£45. Limited quantities of Añejo and Extra Añejo will also be available, alongside organic margarita and Bloody Mary mixers, and agave nectar.
