TRI Launches TRIAL.OS for Intelligent Clinical Trials
TRI has launched TRIAL.OS, an operating system for intelligent clinical trials, leveraging AI to provide data insights and accelerate outcomes. The system offers flexible access to applications.

CAMBRIDGE, England – TRI, specialists in Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM), has launched TRIAL.OS, an operating system designed for intelligent clinical trials. The launch aims to advance AI-augmented clinical research by providing study teams with enhanced data insights and significantly accelerating trial outcomes.
TRIAL.OS introduces a model for accessing targeted applications, allowing companies to pay only for the features they utilize. These can be used as standalone apps, integrated into TRI's OPRA RBQM platform, or alongside existing technologies. This approach democratizes access to advanced research tools.
Duncan Hall, CEO of TRI, stated that TRIAL.OS shifts trial management from operational to intelligent. The system emphasizes augmenting expert judgment rather than automating it, thereby changing how trials are designed, monitored, and delivered. It is built around six core functions: understand, predict, explain, recommend, automate, and learn.
Developed in collaboration with clients and designed for regulated studies, TRIAL.OS adheres to quality management systems compliant with ICH E6(R3), 21 CFR Part 11, GCP, and GDPR. TRI previously developed the OPRA platform, which has been utilized in over 500 clinical trials.
