Tribune Media Services and AcrNum Launch TMS Mobile for Content Delivery
Tribune Media Services (TMS) and AcrNum have partnered to create and manage TMS Mobile, a service designed to deliver branded content to mobile device users worldwide.

Tribune Media Services (TMS), a subsidiary of Tribune Company, and AcrNum have officially launched TMS Mobile, a new service intended to distribute branded content to mobile users globally. The venture aims to leverage AcrNum's numeric domain names and mobile delivery management expertise alongside TMS's extensive content catalog.
The TMS Mobile service will initially offer games and puzzles, with plans to expand into text-based content such as news services and images. Content will be accessible directly through branded, off-deck mobile websites. The service is set to launch in early June with downloadable Sudoku puzzles from Michael Mepham.
In addition to direct-to-consumer offerings, TMS Mobile will provide a "white label" service for other organizations looking to distribute their own branded mobile content. This white label service is scheduled for release in late June and will operate on a download and advertising revenue-share model.
Both direct and white label offerings are built upon AcrNum's proprietary numeric domain names, which are designed to offer easy, language-independent access to the service. TMS Mobile intends to competitively price its content to encourage user downloads and subscriptions, supported by promotional efforts across TMS and its partners' existing print and online products.
