Trilogy Metals Reports Q3 2026 Results, Advances Arctic Project Permitting
Trilogy Metals has reported its third quarter fiscal 2026 financial results. The company is also progressing with the environmental impact assessment for its Arctic project in Alaska.

Trilogy Metals Inc. has released its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, ending August 31. The company reported a cash balance of $31.2 million, providing financial flexibility to fund its share of activities related to the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP).
Subsequent to the quarter, Trilogy Metals closed a $35.6 million strategic equity investment from DOW. These proceeds are committed to Ambler Metals LLC to advance the exploration and development of the UKMP in northwestern Alaska. DOW has also committed to assist in facilitating financing for the proposed Ambler Road.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) published a permitting schedule for the Arctic project in July. This schedule outlines an estimated 29-month integrated review timetable targeting a Record of Decision in September 2028. Additionally, the USACE commenced the public scoping phase for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in September.
"The third quarter and the weeks that followed have been transformational for Trilogy Metals," said President and CEO Tony Giardini. He highlighted the successful closing of the DOW investment, the transparent permitting schedule for the Arctic project, and the formal launch of the NEPA review. Giardini believes the Arctic project is well-positioned to become a cornerstone of a secure, domestic copper supply chain.
