Troilus intersects 157.5 meters of gold equivalent mineralization at Z87 zone
Troilus Mining Corporation announced new drill results from the Z87 zone at its Quebec project. The company intersected 157.5 meters grading 0.95 g/t gold equivalent, potentially enhancing future mine planning.
Troilus Mining Corporation has reported significant drill results from the Z87 zone of its Troilus project in Quebec. The company intersected 157.5 meters of mineralized material grading 0.95 g/t gold equivalent, a finding that could support future mining operations. The company aims to improve mine planning, potentially increasing resource conversion and operational flexibility.
Key drill results include hole 87-26-505 intersecting 0.95 g/t gold equivalent over 157.7 meters, with higher grades found in shorter intervals within that section. Hole 87-26-508 returned 1.10 g/t gold equivalent over 96 meters, and hole 87-26-481 yielded 0.55 g/t gold equivalent over 83 meters.
These drill holes targeted previously unsampled material above the main mineralized zone at Z87, located within the current reserve pit outline. Troilus stated the goal is to assess opportunities for improving mine sequencing, waste-to-ore ratios, and mill feed flexibility during the mine's early years.
"The drill program continues to generate very encouraging results within the reserve pit areas," said Troilus CEO Justin Reid. "By targeting historically unsampled intervals above the main mineralized zone, we are looking to highlight opportunities that were not fully captured in previous drilling campaigns."
The company is continuing its exploration program to further define the mineralized envelope and evaluate additional mineralized material within and around the current pit design. These results are expected to contribute to a potential optimization of the mine plan.
