President Donald Trump hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping at a state dinner on Thursday, with artificial intelligence (AI) emerging as a central topic of conversation. The gathering included prominent figures from the technology sector, including the heads of Nvidia, SpaceX, AMD, Apple, OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft.

Concerns surrounding the existential risks of AI have recently escalated, pushing the issue to the forefront of the global geopolitical agenda. Trump referred to AI as "Super Intelligence" (SI) on social media, indicating its significance as a discussion point.
