Trump Vows to Investigate EU Over Fines for US Tech Companies

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that the United States will initiate an investigation into the European Union, signaling potential trade actions in response to regulatory fines levied against American technology firms.

"The United States of America is not a 'PIGGYBANK' for Europe, nor will we allow it to be!" Trump declared. He demanded that all fines against these companies be reversed and that a substantial tariff be considered as part of the trade investigation.
