Truth Social to Offer Real-Time Data Feed to Financial Institutions

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the parent company of Truth Social, announced on Thursday the launch of a new data feed service called Truth API. This service aims to provide Wall Street financial institutions and trading firms with faster access to posts from the platform's key users.

The new offering, expected to launch on August 1, will provide a licensed, real-time feed of posts from the top 10 most-influential accounts on Truth Social for its paying customers. TMTG stated that this will allow clients to access market-moving information more rapidly than through conventional channels.

"Markets already move on Truth Social posts," said Kevin McGurn, interim CEO of TMTG. "Truth API delivers a direct, licensed, real-time feed of the platform's most market-moving Truths."

Many social media platforms, including X and Reddit, offer similar interfaces. Hedge funds and other Wall Street entities pay for these data feeds to gain an edge by accessing market-moving information before it becomes widely available. TMTG has indicated that it has already secured customers for the service, which is expected to become a significant and consistent revenue stream for the company.
