TSMC June Revenue Jumps 68% Year-Over-Year
Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer TSMC reported a 68% year-over-year increase in revenue for June. The growth is attributed to rising global demand for its products.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) announced its revenue for June, which surged by 68% compared to the same period last year. The company disclosed that its monthly revenue reached NT$185.8 billion (approximately US$6.1 billion).
This significant increase reflects a global upturn in demand for semiconductor products, which are essential components in devices ranging from smartphones to advanced computing systems. TSMC holds the position of the world's largest contract chip manufacturer, producing chips for major technology firms including Apple and Nvidia.
The company's financial performance has shown consistent growth over recent months, bolstering expectations for a recovery in the technology sector following a slowdown in 2023. Demand in areas like artificial intelligence and high-performance computing is particularly driving growth for chip fabricators.
As a critical player in the global technology supply chain, TSMC's revenue trends offer insights into the broader industry's health. The company anticipates continued strong demand through the remainder of the year.
