Turbopower, LLC Awarded U.S. Air Force Contract for T56 Engine Services

Turbopower, LLC has secured a place on a 10-year multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with the U.S. Air Force, focusing on the support of T56 engine fleets. The contract, which has a maximum ceiling of $343.2 million, allows Turbopower to compete for task orders related to depot-level repair and overhaul services for the T56 Series III and Series 3.5 engines.

Under this agreement, Turbopower will provide depot-level repair and overhaul services aimed at sustaining one of the world's most proven military propulsion systems. Future task orders will contribute to maintaining mission readiness and extending the operational life of T56 engines used by the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and allied military customers worldwide.

The company stated that the award signifies the trust placed in Turbopower's technical expertise and commitment to quality by its military partners. Turbopower specializes in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for C-130 nacelles and T56 engines, alongside PT6 turbine engines and components.

Operating as a Rolls-Royce Authorized Maintenance Center for the T56 since 1994, Turbopower highlights its position as a certified small business within that network. The company emphasizes its ability to combine OEM-authorized technical capabilities with the agility of a small business to deliver reliable MRO solutions for mission-critical military aircraft.
