Tutor Intelligence Raises $75 Million to Expand Industrial Robotics
Massachusetts-based Tutor Intelligence has secured $75 million in Series B funding to scale the deployment of its warehouse and manufacturing robots.

Tutor Intelligence, a robotics startup founded in 2021, has closed a $75 million Series B funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz. With participation from Union Square Ventures and Neo, the company's total funding now stands at $117 million. The capital is earmarked for increasing production capacity and enhancing the autonomous capabilities of its robotic fleet.
The company specializes in robots designed for industrial fulfillment, such as the Cassie robotic arm for pallet handling and the two-armed Sonny robot for product picking. Tutor Intelligence operates on a service-based model, charging a $10,000 implementation fee followed by hourly usage rates starting at $14.
CEO Josh Gruenstein noted that the company’s robots are currently deployed in nearly four times as many facilities as they were last year. The client base ranges from small family-owned businesses to Fortune 50 companies across the North American manufacturing and distribution sectors.
