TWAICE enhances battery system analytics with over 15 new features
TWAICE has released more than 15 product enhancements to support battery energy storage system (BESS) operators. The updates focus on managing risks and optimizing financial performance.
TWAICE, a provider of analytics software for battery systems, announced over 15 major product enhancements aimed at helping battery energy storage system (BESS) operators navigate complexity and improve financial outcomes.
Among the new capabilities is a Penalty Risk Assessment feature designed to help operators avoid costly penalties by clarifying and enabling action on State of Charge (SoC) issues. The tool provides recommendations for SoC limits based on real-world system behavior, aiding in the prevention of fines and protection of assets.
Other key enhancements include usable and recoverable energy KPIs for maximizing availability, Roundtrip Efficiency (RTE) monitoring to ensure long-term asset profitability, and a customizable Warranty & Guarantee Tracker for managing contractual risks. Automated Reporting capabilities have also been improved to speed up operational decision-making.
Stephan Rohr, TWAICE Co-CEO, stated that these rollouts address new and complex challenges emerging as the energy storage industry scales. The company focuses on anticipating industry needs and delivering practical value.
Founded in 2018, TWAICE offers advanced analytics that complement the basic monitoring of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS). The company aims to provide unbiased insights to support objective decision-making, independent of manufacturers, insurers, or service providers.
