Twelve Injured in Ukrainian Drone Attack on Belgorod
Russian authorities report a drone attack on Belgorod, leaving 12 people injured. The attack also caused fires in apartments and vehicles.

Russian authorities have reported that a Ukrainian drone attack struck the city of Belgorod near the border. The attack resulted in 12 people being injured, including two children. Several apartments in a residential building and more than 15 cars caught fire. Independent verification of these claims is currently not available.
Russia has accused Ukraine of numerous drone attacks on its territory since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022. Ukraine, in turn, has carried out strikes within Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned about an increased deployment of North Korean soldiers in Russia's war effort. According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia is preparing to receive an additional 30,000 soldiers from North Korea and more rocket launchers. Zelenskyy stated that this development poses a threat not only to Ukraine but also to other Asian nations.
Meanwhile, Iran has pledged "consequences" following an attack on a cargo ship in the Caspian Sea, threatening retaliation.
