Twelve South Releases Cablesnap Travel Charger with 65W Power
Accessory manufacturer Twelve South has launched the Cablesnap, a travel charger featuring a retractable USB-C cable and swappable international plugs.
Twelve South has introduced the Cablesnap, a new travel charging solution priced at $49.99. The device centers on a built-in, 29-inch retractable USB-C cable designed to simplify storage and reduce cable clutter for frequent travelers.
In addition to the integrated cable, the unit provides a maximum output of 65W. It includes secondary USB-C and USB-A ports to allow for multi-device charging, with the USB-A port supporting up to 18W. This capacity allows users to power a MacBook Air, an iPad, and a smartphone simultaneously.
The charger is designed for global utility, featuring fold-away US prongs and including interchangeable adapters for European and UK outlets. The product aims to address the common traveler requirement for a compact, all-in-one charging solution.
