Twin Med Deploys DeepFabric AI Agents in Procurement Process
Medical supply distributor Twin Med, LLC is deploying five DeepFabric AI agents across its procurement-to-pay process. Three agents are now in production, handling approximately 3,200 purchase orders monthly.
Santa Fe Springs, Calif. – Twin Med, LLC, a national distributor of medical supplies, has deployed five AI agents developed by DeepFabric into its procurement-to-pay workflow. Three agents are now in production, managing routine follow-up tasks and freeing up Twin Med personnel to concentrate on more strategic areas like sourcing and supplier relationships.
The agents are responsible for purchase order follow-up, shipment tracking, delivery scheduling, discrepancy resolution, and invoice matching. The agents currently in production support about 3,200 purchase orders per month across 260 suppliers. They operate as a unified system, sharing context to expedite issue resolution.
Twin Med aims to streamline its procurement operations and allow buyers more time for sourcing and supplier negotiations. Early results indicate a reduction in late receiving discrepancy reports by over 90% and a resolution time for supplier issues that is approximately 60% faster compared to the prior six-month period.
