Twinnin Launches Tools for Control Over AI Use of Human Likeness
Twinnin has launched Human Verified and Defend Twinn, services aimed at giving individuals and businesses control over AI's use of human likeness. Model Management joins as the first partner.

Technology firm Twinnin has introduced Human Verified and Defend Twinn, services designed to provide individuals and businesses with greater control over the use of human likeness by artificial intelligence (AI).
Defend Twinn allows users to verify their identity, register a timestamped objection to AI use of their likeness, and initiate and track takedown requests. The service aims to empower individuals to manage how their digital representations are utilized.
Human Verified, in turn, accredits businesses that use human likenesses with consent. Model Management has become Twinnin's first Human Verified partner, granting access to Twinnin's services for its network of over three million models. The Human Verified mark will signify a company's commitment to consent-based AI utilization.
Twinnin co-founder Kat Grobler stated that "every performer, union card or not, gets the deal Hollywood fought for." She emphasized the need for companies to know whose image they are using and with what permission, and called for legislation to keep pace with technological advancements.
Twinnin's technology is led by Chief Technology Officer Dr. Mary Maller. The company was founded by Kat Grobler, who has extensive experience in consumer goods industries. Andreas von Estorff, CEO of Model Management, noted that Twinnin adds an "independent, neutral trust layer" that technically and legally confirms each model's identity and choices for brands.
