Ty Nant Acquires Fonthill and Decantae from Primo Water
Welsh premium water brand Ty Nant has acquired Fonthill Water and Decantae Mineral Water from US-based Primo Water Corporation. The acquisitions strengthen Ty Nant's position as a leading UK premium water brand.
Welsh luxury water brand Ty Nant has continued its expansion by acquiring Fonthill Water and Decantae Mineral Water from the US-based Primo Water Corporation. Primo Water is a major player in the North American beverage market.
Ty Nant, which previously acquired the Llanllyr Source brand, aims to strengthen its position in the UK premium water market with this acquisition. The company has also been recognized as the fastest-growing bottled water company in the UK this year.
Decantae Mineral Water is known for its high-quality water sourced from the foothills of Snowdonia. With this acquisition, Ty Nant gains access to new packaging innovations, including cuplets suitable for travel and healthcare.
Fonthill Spring Water comes from the historic Fonthill Bishop Estate in Wiltshire. The acquisition broadens Ty Nant's geographical reach and also introduces the company to the water cooler market.
Ty Nant's Chairman, Raminder Sidhu, highlighted the synergies in the acquisitions and the company's growth strategy, which also includes developing sustainable packaging solutions such as aluminum bottles and cans.
