Typsy Beauty Raises ₹20 Crore for Expansion in Quick Commerce and Offline Retail
Indian beauty and personal care brand Typsy Beauty has secured ₹20 crore ($2.1 million) in a new funding round. The capital will be used to enhance its quick commerce presence and expand its offline retail footprint.

Typsy Beauty, an Indian direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand specializing in beauty and personal care (BPC), has raised ₹20 crore (approximately $2.1 million) in a recent funding round. The investment was led by Saama Capital, with participation from notable investors including Genesis Luxury founder Sanjay Kapoor and SRF Family Office.
The newly acquired funds are earmarked for strengthening Typsy Beauty's push into quick commerce channels and expanding its physical retail presence. The company also intends to broaden its product offerings into skincare and scale its fragrance sub-brand, Spritz by Typsy.
Established in 2022, Typsy Beauty focuses on premium makeup formulations and operates a portfolio of 27 stock-keeping units (SKUs). Its products are sold through its own D2C website, online marketplaces like Nykaa and Amazon, and quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit and Zepto.
This funding round occurs amidst a trend of larger players seeking to acquire or invest in early-stage BPC startups within a competitive market. The Indian cosmetics market is projected for substantial growth in the coming years.
