Ubee EG700 Wi-Fi 7 Gateway Achieves Full Plume/OpenSync Certification
Ubee Interactive announced its EG700 Wi-Fi 7 tri-band Ethernet gateway has earned full OpenSync certification.
DENVER, Sept. 28, 2026 – Ubee Interactive announced that its EG700 Wi-Fi 7 tri-band Ethernet gateway has received full OpenSync™ certification across Plume Design Inc.'s HomePass®, WorkPass®, and Uprise™ service suites.
The certification for OpenSync 6.6 allows service providers to deploy the gateway as a Plume-powered device, offering subscribers adaptive mesh networking, advanced security features, and smart home management through a unified, cloud-driven framework.
The EG700 gateway is designed to support speeds up to 10 Gbps with high throughput, making it suitable for low-latency gaming, uncompressed 4K/8K streaming, and large file transfers. It features a 10 Gbps WAN port, a 10 Gbps LAN port, and three 1 Gbps LAN ports. Its Wi-Fi 7 capabilities, including Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 4x4 radios, enable speeds of up to 11.5 Gbps on the 6 GHz band alone.
With this certified Wi-Fi 7 gateway, Ubee reinforces its commitment to cloud-managed broadband solutions. The EG700 is Ubee's first Wi-Fi 7 certified gateway and joins the company's UBC1329 DOCSIS gateway within the Plume and OpenSync ecosystem. The device is built on a MediaTek Filogic 880 processor and designed for stable performance.
