Uber CEO Affirms Ongoing Partnership with Waymo

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi has affirmed that the company will continue its collaboration with autonomous vehicle firm Waymo, despite the earlier termination of their Phoenix partnership. Waymo remains a significant partner for Uber, and their operational ties in Atlanta and Austin are set to continue.

Speaking at the company's earnings call, Khosrowshahi indicated that Uber anticipates operating in these markets next year. He described Waymo's product as "terrific" and stated that "the on-the-ground partnership continues to be very strong."

The end of the Phoenix partnership earlier this year had raised questions among industry observers about the future of the relationship between Uber and Waymo. Waymo, a subsidiary of Alphabet, is a leading developer of self-driving car technology.
