Ubiqedge Upgrades Industrial Machines with AIoT Platform

Indian technology startup Ubiqedge is focusing on upgrading legacy industrial machines by developing solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). The company aims to help factories transform conventional equipment into automated systems that enhance operational oversight and facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ubiqedge has launched its hardware platform, KLEON, and an AI-powered software layer named SAMASTH. These products are designed for integration with existing industrial equipment without significantly altering their current operations. The solution enables remote monitoring and control for applications such as water consumption, air quality, and solar energy systems.

The company's founders identified that many industrial entities struggle with adopting new technologies. Ubiqedge seeks to address this by providing a user-friendly system that can be integrated into existing machinery, making AIoT technology scalable and accessible.

Rather than selling directly to factories, Ubiqedge collaborates with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and system integrators who bundle the technology with their own offerings. The startup recently secured INR 10 crore in seed funding.
