Ubisoft Confirms Beyond Good & Evil 2 Remains Under Active Development
Ubisoft Bordeaux's lead writer, Rik Godwin, has confirmed that the highly anticipated game Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still in active development. The game has been in production since approximately 2017.
Ubisoft has confirmed that its long-awaited title, Beyond Good & Evil 2, remains under active development. The confirmation came from Rik Godwin, lead writer at Ubisoft Bordeaux, who revealed on the BlueSky platform that he has been working on the game as a consultant for the past several months.
The game was first revealed in May 2008, but its active development reportedly began around 2017. Beyond Good & Evil 2 is an action-adventure RPG designed for both solo and cooperative play.
According to previous reports from Insider Gaming, the development team for Beyond Good & Evil 2 has remained intact. Despite its protracted development cycle, Ubisoft reportedly views the project as still valuable and worth pursuing.
