UCloud Brings Hygon's Tianxi AI Accelerators to Public Cloud

Chinese cloud provider UCloud has made servers equipped with Hygon's Tianxi series AI accelerators available on its public cloud platform. This deployment is reportedly the first large-scale public cloud introduction of this chip series.

The move provides cloud customers with access to domestically developed computing hardware specifically for AI-related workloads. This aims to bolster China's capabilities in AI development by offering local processing power.
