Ultrahuman Raises $70 Million for Integrated Healthtech Platform
Smart ring maker Ultrahuman has secured $70 million in funding to expand its health intelligence platform. The company plans to use the capital for research and development in sensing and AI, and for the global expansion of its health monitoring products.

Ultrahuman, a company known for its smart rings, has raised $70 million (approximately ₹662 crore) in a new funding round. The investment, which included participation from Qualcomm Ventures, Alpha Wave, and others, is earmarked for expanding the company's health intelligence platform.
The startup intends to allocate the funds towards scaling research and development (R&D) in areas such as sensing technology, artificial intelligence, miniaturized electronics, and health algorithms. A portion of the capital will also support the global rollout of its blood testing product, ‘Blood Vision,’ and its continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) platform, ‘Ultrahuman M1’.
Ultrahuman stated that the funding will enable it to move beyond wearables and develop an integrated platform that synthesizes physiological, biochemical, and environmental data. Including this latest round, the company has now raised over $173 million in total funding.
CEO Mohit Kumar indicated that the capital will accelerate development in areas spanning sensing, materials, electrical engineering, algorithms, physiology, and clinical science, with the aim of bringing these advancements to millions worldwide. The company’s current ecosystem integrates its smart ring, blood testing, CGM, environmental sensors, and software tools.
Despite recent challenges, including a cybersecurity breach and an import ban related to patent disputes with competitor Oura, Ultrahuman has reported improved financial performance. The company posted a net profit of ₹71.5 crore for the fiscal year 2025, a significant turnaround from a loss of ₹37.7 crore in the previous fiscal. Operating revenue saw a near fivefold increase. Ultrahuman aims to build a broader computing platform capable of continuously interpreting human body signals.
