Ultrahuman to Roll Out Biological Age Model Across UAE

Bengaluru-based health tech startup Ultrahuman, known for its smart rings, has signed a two-year memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC). The agreement aims to develop and validate a model that estimates an individual's biological age.

The model will combine clinical biomarkers with data collected from wearable devices, including information on sleep, activity, cardiovascular health, and metabolism. The goal is to identify factors that may accelerate or slow the aging process.

This partnership with Abu Dhabi represents Ultrahuman's latest effort to move beyond selling hardware and deploy its health algorithms at a larger scale. The company increasingly views itself as a health data company, with the smart ring serving as one method for data acquisition.

The startup has sold approximately 800,000 smart rings globally to date. The Abu Dhabi partnership is the first step toward deploying a health algorithm on a national scale, with the biological age model eventually intended to be available to all residents of the UAE.
