Umasankar Nistala appointed CIO and CEO of Re:Sources at Publicis Groupe
Publicis Groupe has announced the appointment of Umasankar Nistala as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO) and CEO of Re:Sources. He will be based in New York and report directly to CEO Arthur Sadoun.
Umasankar Nistala has joined Publicis Groupe in the newly combined role of Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) and CEO of Re:Sources. Nistala will oversee the group's worldwide IT operations and lead Re:Sources, the company's shared services backbone designed to create consistency and synergies across its various tools and systems.
Based in New York, Nistala will report directly to Arthur Sadoun, CEO and Chairman of Publicis Groupe. Prior to this appointment, Nistala served as CIO for the Financial Institutions Group at Fiserv. His career includes senior technology and transformation leadership roles at major financial institutions such as BNP Paribas and JPMorgan Chase.
