UNEXO and BNP Paribas Développement Invest in Émeraude Solaire
Solar energy company Émeraude Solaire welcomes new investors, UNEXO and BNP Paribas Développement, to its capital to support its growth strategy and expansion plans.

Émeraude Solaire, a company specializing in solar energy development, has announced the entry of UNEXO and BNP Paribas Développement into its shareholding. This strategic investment is set to fuel the company's growth and expansion.
Founded in 2008 and acquired by Xavier Borel in 2020, Émeraude Solaire focuses on developing photovoltaic power plants in western France. The company reported a turnover exceeding 17 million euros in 2021 and has demonstrated consistent growth. The new investment will support its strategy to diversify its client base from agriculture to municipalities and businesses, develop new offerings such as self-consumption, and expand geographically.
The solar energy market is experiencing strong demand, driven by the broader trend towards economic decarbonization. Émeraude Solaire has responded to this demand by expanding its workforce and completing a new headquarters in Miniac-Morvan by the end of 2021. Xavier Borel, CEO of Émeraude Solaire, stated that the partnership with UNEXO and BNP Paribas Développement will provide versatile and professional support for the company's objectives.
