STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – Union Home Mortgage (UHM) has acquired the origination assets of AmeriTrust Mortgage Corporation. The deal expands UHM's wholesale and non-qualified mortgage (non-QM) lending, accelerating the company's momentum in third-party origination.
The acquisition strengthens UHM's position as the country's seventh-largest wholesale lender. The transaction includes AmeriTrust's existing retail branches, wholesale broker relationships, and corresponding sales channels. AmeriTrust specializes in non-QM loans, which offer flexible mortgage options for borrowers with non-traditional income sources, such as self-employed individuals and real estate investors.
This move continues Union Home Mortgage's growth trajectory, following previous acquisitions. UHM anticipates that its total annual run rate for originations will reach $20 billion following the integration of AmeriTrust's assets. Both companies emphasize their shared corporate culture and core values.
