AI company Unisound released its first annual results since listing, reporting a 29% increase in revenue for 2025. Losses narrowed substantially, particularly in the second half of the year, indicating improved financial performance.

AI technology firm Unisound released its audited annual results for the year ended December 31, 2025, on March 26, 2026. The report marked its first full-year performance since its public listing, highlighting significant growth and an optimized financial structure.
The company achieved total revenues of RMB 1.21 billion in 2025, a 29% increase year-over-year. Revenue in the second half of the year saw accelerated growth, rising 33% to RMB 810 million. A key driver was the large model business, which generated RMB 610 million in revenue, more than a tenfold increase from the previous year. The second half contributed approximately RMB 500 million to this segment, five times the amount from the first half, demonstrating strong market adoption.
Alongside robust revenue growth, Unisound reported a substantial improvement in its loss situation. Net loss in the second half of 2025 narrowed by 84% year-over-year, and adjusted loss decreased by 92%, bringing the company closer to profitability. This reduction reflects ongoing efforts in cost control and operational efficiency. Adjusted operating expenses decreased by 10% year-over-year, and sales expenses as a percentage of revenue fell to 5.4%, indicating improved cost-effectiveness.
Unisound is pursuing a strategy of "strong foundation models + deep applications." The company continues to invest heavily in research and development, with R&D expenses exceeding RMB 380 million in 2025, accounting for 75% of adjusted total expenses. Personnel in R&D constituted 69% of the workforce. Unisound plans to launch a new native agent large model for programming and office work in the second quarter of 2026, anticipating a doubling of intelligent density and token production efficiency.
Looking ahead, Unisound will deepen its "strong foundation model + deep application" strategy. The company will increase strategic investment in foundational large models to maintain a leading global position. Growth engines include scaling "model-as-a-service" (MaaS) offerings and intelligent agent applications in smart living and smart healthcare. Unisound is also exploring recurring revenue streams through API calls and token billing, with consumer-facing products seen as a secondary growth avenue.
