United Airlines Launches Flight Tool for Starlink Wi-Fi Information
United Airlines has introduced a new web tool allowing passengers to check if their flight is equipped with Starlink satellite Wi-Fi. The tool provides more accurate information than previously available third-party services.

United Airlines launched its new Starlink Tracker tool on Tuesday, enabling passengers to check up to three days in advance whether the assigned aircraft for their flight is equipped with Starlink satellite Wi-Fi. This release addresses a long-standing customer need for information regarding the airline's internet services.
Previously, obtaining this information required passengers to utilize volunteer-maintained databases such as Seat Wifi or StarlinkFlights. These platforms gathered data from passenger reports and public records, but their accuracy could vary, often necessitating the separate identification of the aircraft's registration number.
United's new tool offers a more direct and official method for accessing this information. It relies on the airline's internal data on aircraft equipment and updates automatically if a different aircraft is assigned. According to the airline, the tool was developed in response to repeated customer inquiries about Starlink availability.
The airline reports that 640 aircraft in its fleet are currently equipped with Starlink connectivity. Earlier third-party tracking tools had presented differing figures, highlighting the significance of the precision offered by United's own tool for passengers.
