United Diesel wins construction awards for Renault Trucks and LOVOL brands

United Diesel, a subsidiary of the Al Rostamani Group, has been recognized with two awards at the Construction Innovation Awards 2026 in Dubai. The company saw its Renault Trucks line named Construction Truck of the Year, while its recently launched LOVOL equipment brand received the award for Emerging Construction Equipment Brand of the Year.

These accolades reflect the company's influence in the UAE construction sector, which represented 13.1% of the country's non-oil GDP during the first half of 2026. Renault Trucks' K range remains a cornerstone of the distributor's offering for concrete and quarrying logistics, while the newer LOVOL lineup, including wheel loaders and 75-ton dump trucks, has gained traction in mining and infrastructure projects.

United Diesel General Manager David Sawiras stated that the awards validate the company’s strategy to provide a mix of specialized heavy-duty vehicles and versatile construction machinery. He noted that the quick market acceptance of LOVOL reinforces the demand for diverse equipment solutions in the region.
