United, DISH Offer Live Playoff Baseball on Flights with Starlink Screens

United Airlines is now offering live Major League Baseball playoff games on its flights, allowing passengers to watch nearly every postseason game, including the ALCS, NLCS, and World Series. The service is available on more than 900 daily flights featuring Starlink-equipped seatback screens.

The airline has expanded its live streaming options by adding TBS to its lineup from DISH. This complements existing channels such as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, FS1, ESPN, ESPN2, NFL Network, and TNF on Prime Video, and is currently available on over 200 aircraft.

United reports a significant increase in customer satisfaction on flights equipped with Starlink connectivity. In September, over 5.4 million passengers, approximately one-third of its customers, flew on a Starlink-enabled aircraft. The airline anticipates completing Starlink installations across its fleet by the end of 2027.

The airline is continuing to enhance the passenger experience by installing seatback screens on an increasing number of aircraft and introducing new planes with larger 4K OLED displays. Passengers also have access to a wide range of other entertainment content onboard.
