United Franchise Group signs expansion deals in Turkey and Canada

United Franchise Group (UFG) is expanding its international footprint with the signing of two master license agreements. The deal will see Transworld Business Advisors enter the Turkish market, while The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill will launch across Canada’s Atlantic provinces, including Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

The Turkish master license for Transworld Business Advisors is held by a group of investors with management experience in sectors ranging from renewable energy to manufacturing. Meanwhile, the expansion of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Canada is led by operators with existing experience in the food and restaurant industry.

Michael White, Chief Development Officer at UFG, described the agreements as a tactical move to grow the company's global brand presence. UFG continues to scout for master license partners to develop its portfolio in additional markets, including Poland, the Czech Republic, and Mexico.
