Unitree launches upgraded G1+ humanoid robot with six major upgrades
TechNode has launched the G1+, an upgraded version of its G1 humanoid robot, featuring six enhancements to motion performance, perception, interaction, and endurance.
TechNode has introduced the G1+, an updated iteration of its G1 humanoid robot, incorporating six key upgrades. These enhancements focus on improving the robot's motion capabilities, sensory perception, user interaction, and operational endurance.
The G1+ model now includes two additional degrees of freedom in its neck articulation. The peak torque for shoulder and waist motors has been increased by 110%, while the maximum torque for the arms has risen by 43%. Importantly, heat generation has been reduced at equivalent torque levels.
In terms of perception, the robot is equipped with a new binocular vision system complemented by a wide-angle lens. Other additions include head-mounted touch sensing, support for external power sources, a six-microphone array for improved audio input, and dual 10-watt speakers.
The standard G1+ model is priced at RMB 95,000 (approximately $13,000 USD) in China. The G1+ EDU version is available upon direct contact with the company's sales department.
