Humanoid robot manufacturer Unitree opened online subscription for its IPO on the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s STAR Market on August 10. Chinese media have described the offering as the country’s first IPO by a humanoid robot maker.
The deal has attracted attention due to Unitree’s position in China’s humanoid robotics sector and the relatively small size of its public float. Brokerage estimates suggest the online allotment rate is around 0.02% to 0.03%.
