Unitree Robotics prices IPO, DeepSeek to invest RMB141 million
Robotics firm Unitree Robotics has priced its Shanghai STAR Market IPO at RMB150.80 per share. AI firm DeepSeek will invest approximately RMB141 million as a strategic placement.

Unitree Robotics has set its share price for its initial public offering on the Shanghai STAR Market at RMB150.80, with a total of 40.45 million shares to be issued. The company is seeking capital through this listing to fuel its growth and technological advancements.
As part of the IPO, Hangzhou DeepSeek AI Basic Technology Research, the developer behind the DeepSeek AI models, has committed to a strategic investment of approximately RMB141 million. This investment will involve the purchase of 933,900 shares, which will be subject to a 36-month lock-up period.
Unitree stated that strategic investors were selected partly for potential collaborations in areas such as large language models, embodied intelligence, and robotics development. DeepSeek's expertise in advanced AI research is expected to complement Unitree's focus on robotics.
