Chinese technology company Unitree Robotics unveiled its new humanoid robot, dubbed "Super-Man," today. The robot reportedly can achieve a standing vertical jump of two meters and a maximum running speed of 12.66 meters per second (with a leg length of 0.85 meters). The company claims these capabilities surpass existing human records for standing high jump and running speed.

According to Unitree Robotics, the entire machine was developed in just over three months, and significant room for further refinement exists in the coming months. The company previously reported that its H1 robot achieved a speed of 10 meters per second in April, approaching the limits of human sprinting.

Unitree Robotics announced on August 12 that its humanoid robots have reached a cumulative production of approximately 18,000 units, excluding other robot types. This marks a substantial manufacturing output for the company in the rapidly evolving field of robotics.

The development of "Super-Man" highlights ongoing advancements in robotics, particularly in enhancing mobility and physical performance. These developments could pave the way for new applications and capabilities for humanoid robots in various industries.
