Unlock Technologies Closes $433.1 Million Home Equity Agreement Securitization
Fintech firm Unlock Technologies has completed a $433.1 million securitization of home equity agreements, marking its ninth transaction in the sector.
Unlock Technologies, a financial technology company specializing in home equity agreements (HEAs), has finalized a $433.1 million securitization deal alongside D2 Asset Management. This transaction represents the firm's ninth securitization and its second completed during 2026.
The capital was raised through the packaging of HEA contracts, which allow homeowners to access liquidity by selling a portion of their home's future appreciation. The deal attracted recurring interest from institutional investors, signaling ongoing appetite for alternative real estate-linked assets.
This funding round provides Unlock with the necessary capital to continue its operations in the home equity financing space. The firm continues to grow its portfolio as it scales its presence within the U.S. consumer finance market.
